- Daniel Pallas and Véronique Bousquet
Discretion has long been the name of the game for Pallas. The family-owned atelier has quietly applied its petite couture developing artisanal prototypes for the likes of Balenciaga, Karl Lagerfeld, and Celine since it was established by David Pallas in 1961. Now under the leadership of Pallas fils, Daniel, and his wife and business partner, Véronique Bousquet, the company is emerging from behind the scenes with “chic minimalist” silhouettes based on le smoking.
Beyond the impeccable tailoring and versatile range of silhouettes, the collection is distinguished by its craftsmanship. Each of the designs was cut by hand and assembled by one tailor from start to finish. Construction details including hand-sewn linings, patch pockets with no visible stitches, and covered buttons embody the Pallas philosophy: “To love what we do, simply because it’s beautiful.”
